Winegrowing |
So what has winegrowing got to do with the rural youth? What indeed… young winegrowers live in the countryside and are young people with their roots in the countryside. And they live from what ripens in this countryside, from the grapes. What’s true for farming is also true for winegrowing: it creates work and offers young people chances for the future. The examination of the future of winegrowingis an important issue for the BDL. This branch of the economy represents chances for the future for many young people who would like to live and work in the rural regions of Germany. The BDL strives towards making winegrowing and its related areas more secure for the future. This includes the vor- und nachgelagert Bereiche of winegrowing/rural economics just as much as alternative sources of income. The networking of all those involved in and between the winegrowing regions is one of the most important goals.
